Greetings Hammond High School Parents,

My name is Mike Lamb, and I am the proud owner of Freetime Portraits, a photography company based in Howard County, Maryland. I am thrilled to announce that I will be capturing headshots of the cast and production crew for the upcoming high school musical, Mean Girls. These sessions will be held during rehearsals on February 5th, and another date TBD.

As a dedicated portrait photographer, I understand the importance of preserving these special moments, and I am honored to be part of this exciting project. In addition to the high school musical headshots, I want to let you know that I also specialize in senior and family portraits, offering a variety of personalized photography services to suit your needs.

Only students with a signed model release will have their photos uploaded to the online gallery. The model release ensures we uphold the privacy and consent of everyone involved. Once uploaded, you’ll be able to download a digital copy of your cast or crew member’s headshot and order prints from the gallery. To save on prints and avoid shipping fees, use the pre-order form below.

If I had the pleasure of capturing your child’s headshot for the fall play, A Trilogy of Blurred Morality, you have the option to reuse that same headshot for Mean Girls, or we can take a new one if you prefer. If you choose to reuse the existing headshot, there’s no need to fill out the release form again—simply let Ms. Tobiason know your preference. This ensures we have your consent and can streamline the process for everyone involved.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What type of headshot will you be taking? This will be a professionally high key headshot on a white background, showing only the head and shoulders. Retouching will be done to remove non-permanent facial blemishes.

  2. Do I have to agree to this? No, but your cast or crew member will not be part of the headshot photo display.

  3. What is going to be done with these images? I will print each headshot on 8.5x11 photo paper and add the name and role to the print. These will be displayed next to the auditorium when the show runs.

  4. What if I do sign the model release? This gives me permission to use the headshot in my portfolio and for marketing purposes. I do protect the privacy of individuals in the headshot by not including any information that would identify them.

  5. What if I do not sign the model release? Headshots that I do not have a model release for will not be accessible in the online gallery, so you will not be able to download a digital copy of the headshot.

  6. What does this cost? There is no cost to you to for the photo session, and a digital copy will be provided thru the gallery at not cost with a signed model release.

  7. What can I do with these headshots? These headshots are for personal use, and for Hammond High School to use in marketing the production of Guys and Dolls.  This means you can print them, distribute to friends and family, use them for applications(like scholarships, colleges, and clubs, etc.) But you cannot profit from them. If you need to use the headshot for a commercial purpose, like a professional publication, please contact me for a commercial use license.
